Second ICC/ ACC U-1.7 Asia Cup was held in Bangladesh from 15th February to 24th February 2001. Nepal was in Group `B' and played matches against Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kuwait and Singapore. India, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Oman were in Group 'A'.

Nepal the matches against Singapore and Kuwait and lost the matches against Pakistan and Bangladesh. Nepal could not advance to next round.

First ICC U-17 Asia Cup was held in Pakistan from 15th July to 30th July 2000. Nepal was in Pool 'A' and played matches against Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kuwait and Bahrain. Sri Lanka, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Saudi Arabia were in Group 'B'.

Nepal won its match against Bahrain and lost against Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kuwait. Nepal could not advanced to next round.
